Despite the way it feels, losing weight isn't a mysterious process. It's a simple matter of burning more calories than you eat. But, if it were really that simple, none of us would have a weight problem, would we? Weight loss can be such a struggle that we start thinking we have to do something drastic to see results -- diets, pills or those weird fitness gadgets on infomercials that promise instant success. The true secret to weight loss is this: Make small changes each and every day and you'll slowly (but surely) lose those extra pounds. The key is to forget about instant results and settle in for the long run.

Hi friends,
Best way of reducing your wait
Calculate basal metabolic rate
Calculate your activity level. Use a calorie counter to calculate how many calories you burn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc.
Keep track of how many calories you eat. You can use a site like Calorie Count or use a food diary to record what you eat and drink each day.

Hi there! :)
You can try to:
- Eat healthy foods especially fruits and vegetables.
- Avoid sweets and oily foods.
- Exercise everyday. Walking or running can help. If you know how to swim, you may do so.
Before you start, you have to make sure that you are really determined to lose weight. Remember your goal.
Oh, by the way, don't forget to take vitamins, too.
Hope, you'll have positive results! :)

Here i sharing best tips for losing weight. I think Exercise is the absolute best solution. Try finding a sport or activity that you think you'll enjoy. If there isn't anything you like - then a slow jog or brisk walk is just what the body is asking for. The benefits of regular exercise reach into every area of the body.
I'm down about 45 pounds in the past six months. I record everything I eat. I try to keep it at 1800 calories or less. I'm not saying that I don't go over because I do, but maintaining a food log helped me understand portion size. I also try to work out 3 or 4 times a week. When you do work out for 30 minutes or an hour and you burn 500-600 calories, it makes the big mac seem awful disappointing. You seem to want to eat healthier so your workout session isn't wasted.

How to lose height, an old time rhyme:
Willie fell down the elevator.
Wasn't found till six days later.
All the neighbors sniffed, "Gee whiz,
What a spoiled child Willie is."
----------------------
Oh, my bad. This thread is about losing weight, not height.
Well, Willie solved two problems with one sure-cure solution.
: )

Or you could just drink the appropriate amount of water each day, which is something that most people do not do. One thing that might work is spinning your head, then drinking a glass water followed by more spinning on your head. After that drink a glass of water, shout "Pauly Shore is the reincarnation of Edmund Whipple, a farmer who died in 1856" three times, and follow that with drinking a glass of water. That could be something that works for a person at a certain point in their day.
Hi guys,.
Useful tips shared in this thread having great useful material which is much helpful one for many persons who want to lose their weight,..

You must keep track of what you eat. I am successful using an iPhone app called MyFitnessPal. I log all my food and it will interface with activity programs such as Endomondo to add my exercise in.
What I like about MyFitnessPal is you can scan the barcode on the package of what you eat, and it will pull up the calories for that item. Did you know a fish oil capsule has 15 calories? I was not even counting that until I scanned the bottle one day.
I keep track of my intake of food to no more than 1600 net calories per day using MyFitnessPal and it works for me.
