Sure, Ive got a question for all the experienced cyclists out there: is it even feasible to convert a bike to a tubeless setup at home, or am I wasting my time? Ive heard different opinions on this matter, and Im hoping to get some clarity.

Now, Im not new to bikes or their components. Ive worked on my fair share of them, and Im not afraid to get my hands dirty. But the idea of converting my bike to a tubeless setup has me stumped. Ive read the instructions, watched the YouTube videos, and still, something about it seems too good to be true.

I understand the benefits of going tubeless - lower rolling resistance, better traction, and the ability to run lower tire pressures without the risk of pinch flats. But is it really something that a home mechanic can do without specialized tools or training?

Im not looking for any shortcuts or easy ways out. Im willing to put in the work and do the research. But I want to make sure that Im not wasting my time and money on a project thats beyond my capabilities.

So, what do you all think? Is a tubeless conversion at home a realistic goal, or should I leave it to the professionals? Im open to any and all advice, so dont hold back. Lets hear your thoughts!
