How to get rid of blackheads

Step 1 - Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser such as this one, Joey NY Pure Pores Cleansing Gel to get rid of blackheads icon

Step 2 - Apply an astringent. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it. You can find some good astringents at Greatskin.com ( Just type "astringent" in the search product box).

Step 3 - Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads icon If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Several home remedies for blackheads are You can apply aloe vera gel directly to your face. Applying the juice of a lemon to the skin is one alternative to the home remedies for acne that works.Crush the mint leaves and rub on the skin. Leave for 5 or 10 minutes.

Regular and thorough cleaning is necessary, but you should use mild cleansing cremes, it is better for the skin and you are less likely to get allergic reactions. And in case, irritations occur, it is a good idea to put some blemish balm on your face. It gives a good amount of care and nutrition for the skin and also covers red spots and the like. in order to reduce blackheads it is also a good idea to change eating habits because sweets like chocolate or fatty stuff provoke the occurrence of blackheads and it is better to replace them with fruits and veggies.

Do not cover affected area with any sort of protective gear. Ride down the biggest hill you can find.

Make sure the affected area contacts the road
Presto
Now you have some cool looking road rash where the blackhead was.

This also works great for any spot on the face on which one has lost the desire to grow facial hair. It does unfortunately require major damage to the dermal layer. I have a 1/4" square on my chin doing a hellova Telly Savalas impersonation from a wheel overlap scenario where my chin was used as a speed scrubbing device once I separated from the bike..

As it happens, road rash is just like a burn, except that it has the wonderful addition of sometimes grinding dirt, gravel, and other fun stuff into your flesh. Getting road rash is the least fun method of getting cool scars. Frankly, I much more prefer the orthopedic route.

I got a nice scar running on the dorsum of my foot from a bunyon removal - I usually skip that story on dates. I'm pretty sure ones generated from MC accidents are more intriguing (luckily I'm short on those). Thankfully I got a couple beyond the bunyon that make for good stories even if they did hurt like bloody hell to aquire.

I had a friend who was the best story teller. All his stories, including the injury stories, started with, "No shit! There I was. The situation was grim as usual....."

I'd definitely lay off the bunion stories. Also bad for chick enticement are pilonidal cyst stories, anything involving the rectum, or anything related to smegma.

What I do is to put some warm water in my face until the facial pores open. Then I squeeze my skin till the blackhead goes out. Painful method but works for me. After removing the blackhead a cover my face with honey.
