If you are talking about the Tufo 'clincher-tubulars' give them a miss.

Because they are the worst of both worlds. As heavy or heavier than clinchers, but a pain in the ass
to change like tubulars.

Tufo's tubular/clincher have some niche benefits. For criteriums heavy riders can run the tyres at
obscenely high pressures without blowing the sidewalls out of your Mavic rims. They are worth
purchasing if you are thinking of riding in Belgium & only have HP wheels they will greatly reduce
the risk of impact punctures & the extra weight won't bother you.

NB: If you have problems fitting a normal tyres don't attempt to fit these on race day.

Their tubulars are very good & are STILL made in Europe in the same street as the giant
BARUM-CONTINENTAL factory .A few top riders wanted to use them in this year's P/Roubaix but their
tyre sponsors spat the dummy.
