Hi Max. Which part of the world are you in. I am in England and in the North West, in the County of Lancashire.

When I joined this forum I had no real idea how far afield some of the subscribers are. There seems to be a great many in the USA.Is it a USA based forum?.

Hi Cannondale evo. Back in the 60's when I road my 1937 Hetchins Curly(Vibrant Triangle) Track Frame on a 108 inch fixed gear I was pushing a big gear. How do you shove a 120 inch?.

I realise that your bike is light at 20.5lbs (9.2kgs) mainly because of the absence of the derailleurs & the cassette. Do you not find that you lift the back wheel off the ground when out of the saddle & under sprinting power?.

Clearly Don has evolved such that his foot bones have been replaced by a single 4" long stump that fits in the crank.  Grease it up and go.

I don't need no stinking shoes...

Of course, if you put pedals on the bike, you can't claim it weighs less than 16lbs. With 300g of pedals it weight more like 16.5lbs. Oops. That's doesn't look nearly as impressive on a bike forum.

My bike was built and weighed by the builder. I only had to add pedals when it arrived at my doorstep just a couple days ago. I don't know what the pedals weigh off hand, but when I find out I'll be happy to add them to the overall weight if it will make you happy. So enough already!
