The reason why I marked this 'Semi-OT' is 'cause my new bike is a road bike. Yeah, yeah, this is a
MTB group and most of you wouldn't be caught dead on one, but I figure a bike is a bike. If I have
to pedal it to make it go, I don't care if it's a MTB, a 'bent, a road bike, a cross bike, a BMX or
a Track bike. It's a bike. Opposite to what a lot of others think, *I* think road cycling is closer
to MTBing than dirt cycling is. Besides, if you look at really old pictures of the Tour de France,
those guys were way more hardcore mountain bikers than us.

Interestingly, I feel like telling THIS group about my new bike because I've been a semi-participant
for so damn long. Besides, most roadies are snobs.

Rundown on the new baby (which I named 'Ginger Ninja', after the person that bought me the Veloce
Gruppo for Christmas)

LeMond Maillot Jaune frame Full Veloce Gruppo Mavic Cosmos wheelset Cinelli bars FRM headset Etc.

Now I have something to ride while I wait for the trails to dry up. :)

In my experience most POSEUR roadies are snobs, many genuinely strong roadies aren't. This has been
reinforced by my experience as a bike shop employee. I fact, I've seen many a real roadie, with a
genuine love for cycling, fall in love with the trails. <G>
