Hey guys I'm just starting out as a biker and have no idea what I'm doing. However, my boyfriend and I want to start off on the right foot but know that investing money into a bike we may not like is not wise. Where should we start? What kind of bike should we get? We want to go trailing in parks (some have some slightly rough terrain) and ride around the city/campus where we live. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! (I'm up for anything, but would like to keep costs DOWN for now...)

Hi I am 14 years old and have had a few decent bicycles. I am very pleased with my 2001 fuji nevada mountain bike. These will run you around 350$ and are great for all around riding and can handle rough off road very well. I also reccommend any other Fuji bicycle. They start at around 250$. I also think that The Giant Boulder is a very nice bike and costs around 220$ with a steel frame and 280$ aluminum. These are also mountain bikes but Giant and Fuji both have very nice comfort bikes wich are made for light trail riding but can handle a little abuse. Don't know too muc myself but I tried, haha. Good Luck ! ![]() |
