Wannabepro, I'm in the same boat. The only company I know of is 'British International'. They are the importers. Last time I spoke to them (about 6 months ago) it was AUD$1600. I am fairly sure you could bring it in from the US for around $1500 - including duty and GST (at current exchange rates). Still working out what to do! |

Hi Guys,
apologies, i didn't see this thread. I've not exported a PT to Oz before, but if you send me a private message, or an email to ric@cyclecoach.com i'll get a price for you. cheers ric

Try eBay. They come up every now and again in various guises - I've seen Bontrager versions, 26" versions, standard, pro, you name it. You just have to be patient and expect to learn a lot about the world of electrics and power outlets! Of course, these are all likely to be 2nd hand but I'm happy with mine.

Of course, Ric would also be an excellent source for Power Tap stuff. And if you also want to learn how to use a PT to make a structured and effective training plan, he's your man. I had my best season ever under his guidance. (Gratuitous free plug, hope nobody minds!)

You could try Cycle Edge in Geelong. Donna Rae Szalinski (I have probably spelt her name wrong) is able to get them for you. Here are here contact details from the Tri Vic website. http://www.trivic.org.au/CoachDetails.php?CoachID=73
