Exclamation Quick eye test

This will blow your mind...!
Just do it - don't cheat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Count the number of F's in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Managed it?
Scroll down only after you have counted them!

OK?

How many?

Three?

Wrong, there are six - no joke!

Read again!

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

The reasoning is...

The brain cannot process the word "OF".

Incredible or what?

Anyone who counts all six F's on the first go is a genius
Three is normal. F

Seen that one before, so I managed to get it correct

Wonder if I'm a genius now?

What can I say?

My brain processed the f's in the of's!

My mother always said I'd eventually become good at something if I perservered with it!!

Thanks Mum, You were right! I'm now recognised as a genius on cyclingforums.com

I counted six running through it, and then strained myself to look for more, because I know that with these sorts of questions, there are ALWAYS more letters that first meet the eye.

I racked my brains and gave up, so just scrolled down .. and realised I was wasting my time

I guess that makes me closer to an idiot-savant than a genius
