Need Info........
Hello Everyone,
I am looking to purchase a good cycletrainer in the 150-200$ range. Wether it's a fluid, magnetic, ... trainer, I just want one that won't leak and that will last me a considerable amount of time (ie. more than a year). A website where the trainer can be purchased (and shipped to Canada) would be a great help also. As you can probably tell, I am a total newbie in the field of cycletrainers and would like your expert advise on the subject. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks. ps. If I'm posting to the wrong forum... sorry. Just let me know where to post my question. |

I know a guy with one from Schwinn... Probably expensive though.

I just ordered an Elite Fluid Alu Trainer from ebay for about $220 CAD. It doesn't have the elastogel roller just an aluminum roller. That one retails for $300 CAD plus tax.

I use the basic Minoura magnetic one, no frills but it works fine. Paid about $120 at my local bike store.

I run a CycleOps Magneto. Well built and really easy to slip a bike into. Paid about $220 Cdn. for it about a month ago. I've been really happy with it so far.
