Hey, Thom. yeah, I have one that I've owned since the early 90's. I've ridden it some. I've held onto it thinking it almost a museum piece, too pretty to ride. Recently, I've been thinking of selling it. If you know of anyone that wants one....... Kurt Jensen Eugene, OR |

I had several offers from folks that wanted mine a few years ago but I was riding it a lot back then so I was not interested in selling mine. I have not been out on mine lately, I broke the clips that hold the seat on the rear axel. I need to find some way to either replace them or re design a fix. I just haven't put much effort into it yet. I will keep yours in mind if I run into anyone that might be interested. feel free to e-mail me at thoma@bigfoot.com with more info or whatever. I think I have had more fun on the thebis than any other bike I have owned. I also believe that it was way ahead of its time and it should have made a much bigger impact than it did

I've had some good luck on ebay. I sold a Santana triple at a price that made me happy, and I sold a Zenit trike for a friend. So, I need to take some decent pictures of the Thebis and figure out what boxing and shipping will be, and then proceed to get it to someone who will enjoy it.
Someone from the Vancouver B.C. area offered me $1500 USD a couple years ago. I think that's a bit low, but it's hard to tell with such an intricate and orphaned vehicle. Anyway, when I get it listed to ebay, I'll let you know. Yes, probably ahead of it's time and quite expensive, originally. I understood the Perkins brothers were trying to get the price down to $2000 or close to that, but I assume they ran out of money before that could happen. Kurt Quote:

I seem to have a hard time parting with some things that I really enjoy. I will not have a place for my thebis in a year or so. So I will probably need to find it a home in the near future. Good luck with yours. Do you have any Ideas of a source for the clamps that hold the seat brace on the axel tube ??
