SA win Tour of Egypt!

What a great day for SA (and a thanks must go to Aus)

Barloworld's excursion to the Tour of Egypt was an overwhelming success with SA champion, Tiaan Kannemeyer, taking an outright Tour victory and leading his squad proudly to the team title.
Other excellent individual results came from his teammates. France’s Eric Berthou was fourth, and also finished second on the final stage, while Aussie, Sean Sullivan, kept it all together to finish in sixth spot overall.

With three stage wins – Hilton Clarke won the first two stages in the gallop – the overall win and the team competition in the bag, the team couldn’t have aksed for a better start to their overseas ambitions.

Now they all have a spell at home, of which the Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Giro del Capo is the main focus, before the serious European part of the season gets under way at in France in May.
