This guy lives down the street from me and I've watched him ride daily in any kind of weather for the last 20 years or so, both here in Carson City and before that in South Lake Tahoe. He really is amazing. Dave |

There's nothing to say about the guy on the trike. He needs a new trike. The article was very clear about that. -- Rick Onanian |

Not to be insensitive or anything but how does one fall on a trike? Much less often. Dan. |

It doesn't take anyone who knows something about reading very much time at all to read, so it's inconsequential that we "actually took the time to read the story"; and our snivelling about Jill's grammar is far more intelligent than your snivelling about our snivelling. -- It's not about anger -- it's about peace. It's not about power -- it's about grace. It's not about knowing your enemy -- it's about knowing yourself. |

My point in posting the story was the hope that some of us may find a guy like Glen inspiring. He can't walk without a walker, yet he manages to ride just about every day. You should see him; I'd be amazed if he even makes 3 mph. But if all you got out of the story was that some guy needs a new bike, that's fine. Dave |

Thanks for the clarification. I was kinda wondering if the reporter was making stuff up to spice up the story or something (not that journalist ever do that). I always think it's awsome to hear about people riding their bike and overcoming adversity. I only hope that I would ride that much/hard if I faced such difficulty. Dan. |
