I recently bought a new (clearance) Vision R50 and, seeing as how the manufacturer is defunct, I'm looking for some technical assistance that I would have normally sought from them (ATP). Basically, I'm pleased with the bike but there are 2 glaring issues:
- The front brake cable interference with the chain seems to severely limit the steering angle at low speeds - I have always had a problem with hands going to sleep (numbness/carpal tunnel syndrome) - can this bike be configured for under-seat-steering (i.e.: with the Ballistic fork)? |

I assume the other posters were addressing your second question. I have the same interference on my Vision R-32 but only at sharp turns reachable when walking the bike, so I simply adapted to the problem. The front brake locks at that point-is that the issue or were you merely concerned about abraision. Since yours is severe enough to effect riding, you might consider lengthening both the cable and its associated cable shield lengths proximate the chain and strapping the shield so it can't reach the chain. |

Hi
I'm riding a R45 (1999 Model)& I've got a Balistic fork with USS. It was ordered with the USS. I have a .jpg image of the bike that I can forward to you, but sorry I've no web site to post the image on. However having said all this I'm currently in the middle of trying to reconfigure the bike so that a M5 Carbon Fibre site can be attached to the my Vision R45, there are a few technical details that I'm trying to iron out but in the mean time are you guys interested in my findings once I've completed the conversion? Regards Jemil Quote:

I had the same problem with my cableing, I legthened it as 'meb' suggested and it cured the problem. I had to use plastic tie to secure the cables but you will beable to see that on the .jpg Quote:
