I really hate to ask, and I hope it's not just me, but.....
WTF is the guy with the blue cast doing to make his arm
blurred. Is there something peeking out behind it?

He's lubing the bike, silly! Those old spring shocks needed
copious amount of slick stuff.

Hate to ask. Yeah sure. You just wanted to beat Sorni to the

There's one of those at the shop down the street from me...
They said it's probably frozen though.

Marin made a version, huh? Manitou made their own aluminum
frame for that model back then. I had that Mach 5 fork on
the front. Heavy, but laterally stiff as hell. Too bad the
seals kept blowing and the plastic compression knob at the
top once tried to brain me. /s

Yes, Balance and Marin licensed it from Answer/Manitou. They
were all tight at the time so it probably didn't cost them
much. I hope no one else licensed it.

Awesome! I knew a guy with that Answer frame back in the
day. He thought it was a shiznit of course, but I was
skeptical. He kept blowing seals on those rear shocks IIRC.
