Hi Guys,
I'm currently working on building a good CrossCountry bike. I've already got the frame, an Specialized Epic S-Works that I managed to get a good deal on. I've been having difficulty choosing the proper fork to go with the bike. Here are the forks I am currently considering: - RockShox SID Race - Manitou Skareb Super or Platinum - Marzocchi Marathon SL Right I'm leaning on getting the Marathon SL, do you guys think it would be a good choice? Thanks in advance for the help See ya! |

Cant belive your not considering Fox, I bought a new bike (well I chose all the parts so not an off the shelf bike) & after trying a few other bikes with various forks I found some Fox F80RLT on sale & snapped them up as they felt so much better than anything else I tried (also money wasnt really an issue for me).
You can easily dial them in to how you like them & unlike my old Rockshox they feel really well built (for example the lockout broke on the RS after one big hit locked out) The only other forks I tried that felt any where near as good were my friends Marzocchi's but they had too much travel for me. http://www.mtbreview.com/ has plenty of reviews of most forks. |
