Default Brake squeal

Hi guys,
Just took my first ride with my new Mavic Ceramic front rim, and got a terrible brake squeal. I started with a normal toe-in (abt 2 mm), then tried increasing it even more. Squeal remained.

Is there a break-in time for ceramic rims, should I use special brake pads, or am I missing something else?

I'm quite certain that set-up is correct.

(Brakes are Avids, and they worked fine on alloy rims)

Avid makesgreen compound specially designed for ceramic rims if you have the style that accepts cartridges... and also there is a Kool Stop ceramic specific pad.

Hey, thanks

Yes, they take cartridges. Now all I have to do is find a LBS that carries those special pads...
