What is a better light...NiteFLUX 10, Cateye 10 or Vistalight 15?
I plan to start riding at night or early morning, all on good roads but want good lighting levels as I will be travelling up to 40km/h and I am looking at • NiteFLUX VisionSTICK 10 Aus$189.00 (Dean Woods) • VistaLite Nightstick Code 15 Aus$198.00 (Phantom) • Cat Eye ABS 10 Headlight Aus$189.00 (Phantom) Any other recommendations are welcome. -- Regards, FaHeL __o -\<, ( ) / ( ) |

The Sigma Sport Mirage X is the best value in watts/$. About $60 for 25 watts (5w and 20w lights). I've used one for the past 3 or 4 winters. It's heavy (SLA battery, starting to wear out at this point) but a great value and lots of light. I had a NiteRider 10w before that and 10w is not enough light at 20mph. Seems like the Sigma Sport might be going out of production. Performance is out of them but I recently bought a new one on ebay for $47. Michael |
