Default Traitor

Tom Boonen, to be specific.

This is what he said in cyclingnews today:

"Rounding out the top five is Hincapie: "George showed in the
KBC-Driedaagse De Panne-Koksijde that he is in the right form. On
Sunday he'll show that he is very good." "

How could Boonen be a friend to anyone from USPS after USPS tried to
screw him with an Iraqi oil derrick? And that friend is Loser George
Hincapie to boot.

If I were Lefevere, Boonen's contract would be rescinded immediately.
Clearly the man has no appreciation at all for what the Belgian team
has done for him.

enjoy,

Brian Lafferty

Default Re: Traitor

Maybe he's just being a good sport. IIRC Boonen would never have been
Postal's "Man for P-R" as that job has been George's. Now the team is
top-heavy with Spring Classics calibre riders.

Nothing takes the steam out of your shorts like someone being nice to
you. If Boonen said, "George is a loser. He may have won DePanne, but
he couldn't even take as stage", think about how that could really focus
George & Postal to see that Boonen is put in his place.
