Default Opinions on KHS Flite 700

I'm getting into biking quite heavily after moving from California to
Florida. I used to only do mtn biking but here in S. Florida rode
biking is all that is really available. My budget is about $1000. I
started to look around and noticed the KHS Flite 700 which I can
probably get for around my budget. Is has the Campy gear for this
year and i believe it had shimano 105 gear last year. It is also quite
light at 19 lbs. What are your opinions on the bike? The specs are
here: http://www.khsbicycles.com/04flite700spec.html and the pic is
here: http://www.khsbicycles.com/04-Flite-700-web.jpg

All input is greatly appreciated.

He said all input is greatly appreciated, but I'm sure he'd be happy to make
an exception in your case

with my bike question.

That sounds pretty tempting. Aren't there loads of elderly people
there, though?

Any good jobs, maybe something in a small company's IT department,
available down there? I'm getting pretty damn tired of this weather,
housing is expensive here, and some flatter land would be fun, too.

That's right, Zoot. It really sucks. Too many old people. Wages are
low. High crime. Dangerous roads for biking. Too many rednecks and
immigrants. Worst of all: Jeb Bush is governor and every winter we
get overrun with Yankees and, even worse, Canadians.

You folks wouldn't like it here, so why don't you move to, say,
Colorado. Yeah, that's it, Colorado. They have shoulders on every
road out there. Bicyclist heaven, it is. That's where you need to
go. Stay away from Florida. Too damned hot down here.
