2004 Amstel is won by Team Orange. That's the only race they can win,
and the only one their sponsor has ever heard of. Sound like anyone else we know? RC |

I don't know if its the only one they heard of but it is important to the
sponsor as it is the only world cup race in the netherlands. As I see it : there are teams for the tour and there are teams for the classics. No team (ok, VERY few) can do both. Comments? Even Quick-Step has a team for the classics (Museeuw, Boonen, Bettini, etc.) and another team for the Tour (Rogers, Virenque, Dufaux, the Spaniards). You rarely see them riding together. ProTour mentality, I guess. Jenko |

Check out the palmares, wins and podium finishes, of Boogerd, Dekker and Sorenson to name a few. -- |
