Often I see an odd 'W' symbol in the road graffiti during the Giro (and I
think during the Tour too). I assumed it was for a rider, but I don't know which. During stage 5 it appeared in a soccer field in a large message having something to do with Pantani. Anyone know what this symbol means? |

It is disguised road porn; a symbol depicting female labia, also a common tattoo. They must be cracking down on the more graphic stuff this year - haven't seen much of it. I guess we'll just wait for Spain. -- |
