Colorado is splendid for biking, we cycled there last year and I can
honestly say that we have rarely had so much fun. However, five days is
short, if you are flying in and out of Denver. On the other hand if you can
only spare five days you might be able to afford to fly right into Aspen or
Crested Butte. Then, bike out via Summit County. - Just a thought.

The traffic is mostly well behaved.

Summit county is very beautiful. So, is Crested Butte, Salida and Durango.
But there is no way you can do it all.

In Colorado, in my experience, it is more climbing than long distances.
