Default biking from Barrington Illinois

I am interested in biking from Barrington Illinois to locations
aproximately 50 to 100 miles (e.g Dekalb, Freeport) on Saturdays
during May through October 2004. Return trip would be on Sundays.
Longer trips would tend to be later in the season. I study maps to
select low-traffic country roads. I don't camp at far end -- I stay
in cheap, clean lodging, like Super8.

I am open to riding partners.

I happen to ride a recumbent, but I am indifferent to partner's bike.
I have about 20 years experience and a cell-phone that speed dials my
support truck people.
