In my price range, and with what my city has [in the several bike shops in town], I have decided to go with the 2005 Gary Fisher Tiburon. For the price range, it seems to offer the best of the models I've looked at:
Schwinn Voyager GS Giant Cypress Giant Farrago Trek 7100 ....just to name a few. I hope to be riding it soon. My wife is getting me one for my birthday, which is the first part of August. ![]() |

Well, looks like I spoke too soon. I ended up getting the TREK 7100 because the LBS outfitted it with Rapid Fire for the same price the Gary Fisher was going to be. I'm VERY glad. I get the Rapid Fire shifters AND the color I wanted!
