Default Perth: Good Wheelbuilder

Anyone in Perth know of a good wheelbuilder? I have had less than
satisfactory wheels built at one BS (which shall remain nameless) and
I'm looking for alternatives.

I know some of you are going to suggest that I build my own wheels...I
will one day but for now I need to have a new pair made and need an
experienced mechanic.

Thanks

Go to Port Kennedy Cycles and ask for Michael. He will build you a very
good wheel. I had PKC build me some wheels for my recumbent Trike back in
2001. I still have not had any trouble with it. My road bike wheels have
also been built there with no probs what so ever.

Cheers
Rob

If you dont want to travel 50k's to get your wheel built , Quantum Bicycles will build you a kickass wheel. It isnt a bike shop as such, but a frame builder who makes great wheels to boot. It located just up farmer st, of the corner of angove, charles and SBR in North Perth.

Ive never had them build a wheel, but Id be suprised if they didnt do a
fantastic job. I was in there today, they service both my bikes, one of
which is a contarino =)

Definitely a vote for quantum.

The best.mechanic wheelbuilder in Perth is Rick Churchill, Churchill Cycles
Marmion st Palmyra.
Also Bob Braid at Runners World Fitzgerald St Perth.
Its not Rocket science just correct spoke tension plus good rims.

Can anyone help me - I am looking at spending about $700 on a road bike - second hand - is there anywhere I should look?
