Hi guys, I am new here. Like to ask a question....
I own a Cannondale bike. It is blue in colour and has the words TEAM VOLVO on the top tube. It came stock with the golden coloured Moto 120 fork and coda chain guides..I did a search on net and the closest resemblence to my bike was one found in the archives of the Cannondale website in the year 1997 and it was the Cannondale Super V 4000 DH. However, the bike featured in the website was red in colour and had a cane creek rear suspension on it.. My bike is blue in colour and has a fox vanilla r rear suspension instead...So can anyone help identify the model make year and why team volvo printed on it??? Btw, I changed my front fork to a marzocchi Monster T year 2000 model which was second hand from my friend but he upgraded the internals to motocross parts... Also, I changed my stock CODA disc brakes to magura gustav M's cause the CODAs worked very very badly and offered mediocre performance and stopping power. Here's a pic of my bike which i posted in a local forum from my country: http://www.togoparts.com/showroom/p...19162404109.jpg |

Hello,
the steerer tube logo was first used in modellyear 2000 and the colour of the teambikes changed between the year 1999 and 2000 from viperred to the the blue of your super v dh. And the super v dh 4000 from 1997 was delivered with a sachs power disc, the coda disc brake was first mapped in the catalogue (europe version) from 1998. in the 1999 catalogue a super v dh is mapped in blue and the same decals on it. so i think your beautiful super v is made 1999 or 2000. i hope i could help you. ciao teddybaer |

I myself own a Cannondale Super-V DH4000, what I'm interested in is the detachable disc mount is designed for coda/sachs so it isn't international standard, what have you done with yours?

If you send the serial no. to Cannondale support they can tell you the date of manufacture. It worked for me.
