I dind't catch the whole 2 hours, but I need some refreshing of my memory.
The one item that caught my attention, and I hate to bring it back up, is LA referred to a race in which Simeoni finished and afterward proclaimed himself to be a "clean" rider and everyone to be a "doper." The impression I got is that in addition to the legal issues, that proclamation by Simeoni is at the heart of the feud with many in the peloton. ![]() |

HE won a stage in the Veulta i think 2 years ago, to celebrate the win he got off of his bike about 5-10 meters from the finish line, and he walked acrossthe finish line with bike in hand. During the afterwards interview (According to what Armstrong said in the interview) his comments afterwards were basically to the effect of that he (Simeoni referring to himself) was the only "clean rider in the race, which Armstrong found as a complete insult to the other riders. |

Thanks for the clarification.
It further convinces me that Lances actions in the TDF were/are correct. ![]() |

This is correct, and I was not aware of Simeoni's little fiasco until I saw the interview. LA wasn't going to allow him a chance to return to his soapbox and attempt to mar LA's record 6th with another self-serving rant. Judging from the words delivered to Simeoni upon his return to the peloton (especially by T-Mobile), he is not exactly the most well liked rider (putting it politely) for his antics. |
