Sergio Paulinho: How good was this guy? He kept pace with one of the top one day road racers in the World..Awesome

I heard he came 9th in the Tour of Portugal and was ranked about 215th...but does anybody know anything about him...looks like he'll be signed up to a big team soon...that would certainly be a bargain buy!

Paulinho is still young, thats why he is so little known born 26/03/1980. As an U 23 rider he used to be one of the best time trialists around:

2. LANG Sebastian GER + 38.35
3. PERRY James RSA + 39.35
4. POPOVYCH Yaroslav UKR + 52.92
5. PAULINHO Sergio POR + 56.68
6. VAN GOOLEN Jurgen BEL + 1:02.58
7. FOTHEN Markus GER + 1:03.70
8. SCARPONI Michele ITA + 1:32.40
9. QUINZIATO Manuel ITA + 1:37.67
10. GOUSSEV Vladimir RUS + 1:46.68

Most of the other riders in this top 10 have turned pro some belonging to the best all the way.
