Hi. I was wondering what the best route is from the UCLA campus to the beach?

Unfortunately the first couple of miles are going to suck no matter which route you take. I'd probably take Sunset (or parallel side streets if possible) down and cross the 405. Make a left on Barrington and go to San Vicente. Take San Vicente down to the bluffs and make a left on Ocean (I think it's Ocean - the one at the end of San Vicente). Then you can take one of the pedestrian bridges across PCH, or just go down to the pier.
