Hi,
I have recently cycled through the roads of Spain and I am looking for a detailed profile of the hardest climb I have done there - Anso (west to east). Does anyone has it? or has any idea how to get it? Thanks, Itsik |

It is a mountain pass, unmarked, on the border between Navarra and Huesca (districts in the Spanish Pyrrenees). The road east from the village Roncal climbs to this pass, then down to the village Anso (and after another climb to the village Echo). It is about 30-40 km north west of the town Jaca of Huesca. The climb as viewed back from the pass: http://forumsgallery.tapuz.co.il/Fo...07200475812.jpg And the other side: http://forumsgallery.tapuz.co.il/Fo...07200476021.jpg The road is quite bad, lots of gravel, but still good enough for road bikes. The climb was more difficult than any other I have seen, about 10km of real hard work without a soul around except for a single MTB rider (must have thought I was mad) and a car or two.

If I have a question like yours I search for tourist web sites of the nearest town, region or country in which that place is and then I send them an email! In most of cases I got the answer because that`s in their behalf, of course! Tourism is big business these days
![]() I found turist site of Aragon with contact form! I`m sure they will answer you! By the way I found that road in Microsoft AutoRoute express, but only thing written about it is its mark: na-176! Maybe that can help you.. |

I am 41 yo. My English comes from my late parents (who were not native speakers) and my English speaking friends. I also used to work with many English speakers, and read and write a lot (mostly professional documents & books).
