Hi there, i'm gonna ride the los lan cymru route in july 2005. Wich way can i take best: north-south or south-north?
Which direction blows the wind most of the time and is the route in both direction signed? If i begin in the south part of wales can i depart best from cardiff or chepstow? Other great tips of the route are also welcome, Roger |

Brian, or anyone else who can help...I am planning a relatively long touring trip from Alicante to Amsterdam for charity in the summer. I was planning to do a practive trip in Wales, along the route from Shrewsbury to Pembrokeshire. Are the Sustrans map routes on flat roads for touring/racing bikes, or are they better suited to mountain-biking? Just in case I buy the wrong set of maps! Ben |
