I’m a student in the UK studying for my 'A' levels. As part of Design Technology I have to design and make a trailer for touring. As part of this I have to carryout some market research, I have been unable to get much response form my home town (if fact none). I would be very grateful if you could fill out the questionnaire below simply by listing the reinvent letter for each question. I would also be appreciative of any comment that you may have on trailers concerning there design.
1)How far on average do you travel when cycle touring?(miles) 0-100 A 100-200 B 300-400 C 400+ D 2)Whist on an expedition how much equipment would you typically carry? (litres) 20-40 A 40-50 B 60-70 C 70-90 D 90+ E 3)What methods do you currently use to carry your equipment? Rucksack A Rear Panniers only B Rear and front panniers C Front panniers only D Trailer E Other (please specify)……....F 4)Which of the following methods would you consider using? A side car developed for a bike. A A two wheel trailer B A single wheel trailer C 5)Put these in order of importance? (highest to lowest) Stability A Track (width of bike) B Ease of attachment C Load space D Size of wheels E Drag generated when cycling F 6)What would you consider to be a reasonable price for a cycle trailer or cycle side car? £0-£100 A £100-£175 B £175-£250 C £250-£325 D £325+ E 7)Put these in order of importance? (highest to lowest) Function A Performance B Styling C 8)What would you consider to be a reasonable weight for a product?(kg) 0-5 kg A 5-10 kg B 10-15 kg C 15-20 kg D 20-25 kg E 25+ kg F thanks very much Ian Collinson Last edited by iancollinson : 05-11.-2004 at 07:35 PM. |
