Real Name: Scotland.

American Name: That little village on the outskirts of London in the United States of Englandshire.

I once saw an Merkin spell Kashmir as Cashmheer. They're noting of not creative, I'll give them that.

Hadrian's Wall...oh yes, you mean the one that stretches from Prague to the lower Transylvanian mountians designed to keep the Slovaks from attacking weary travellers.

Speaking of Scotland, anyone have any idea why broadcasters in the U.K. call Bush "President Boosh"?
I must be the only person who pronounces "Bush" and not "Boosh".
Which is the correct version?

I was in queue at a railway station in Paris, France. The man in front of me got to the window. 'A wanna return ticket to Laons.' The girl looked down her screen. 'Sorry sir, she said'. 'Laons'. he shouted. 'Sorry sir, we have Lens.' 'A said Laons. France'. 'Sorry sir.' with that he stormed off calling the French rude names, and we saved ya. So I said to the girl, in French, that he probably meant Lyons ( pronounced Leon). Mmm, she said 'Why didn't you help him? I replied that I thought he was very rude. 'Yes, he was' she said and smiled.

There is truth in both definitions of Indian Ink. It was used by scribes throughout the ages in civilised societies, of which America wasn't one. Latterly it was mainly used by draughtsmen to make industrial drawings, until the invention of CAD. It is still used by cartoonists. The basic constituent is acorns, a gallinule which is ferrous sulphate, and an iron pot.
I know were on a different thread here, but do you malt your own barley? Most brewers these days use pelletised hops, but here in the south east of England hop growers still grow Fuggles and Golding hops.

The newsreader are all Scots, and Boosh rhymes with Whoosh, Bush rhymes with Lush and Slush... and Dickhead, Rhymes with everything.
