My MTB initailly had flat bars that made my wrists hurt, I think they were too narrow. Bought some semi-riser bars for more comfort and they are much better, but are also much wider meaning its harder to fit the bike beteween narrow gaps between trees etc. I have fairly broad shoulders, but how do I know what my ideal bar width is? If I reduce the width bit by bit, how much should I cut off each time? Anyone else had this problem?
