Default Cinelli Starlight

A friend of mine is thinking of buying a Cinelli Starlight but got some bad reports on frames breaking after crashes etc since the starlight is so light

has anyone heard anything about these frames or had any experience with them?

There are many frames out there that will not be durable. Even from brands people think are great. That is the problem with really light weight frames. Tubes are very thin and on crashes the tubes may dent or fold.

It doesn't matter the brand. Just common sense that light weight frames are thinner thus not as 'strong' as heavier frames.

Either way as long as you buy the Cinelli from a legal dealer in your country you should have a good warranty.

Of course crashes are not covered under any warranty.
