Default new text for the group page

To replace the sentence "Davids Scientific interests.."

David's scientific interests include genome annotation and data management.
He has developed the [[GOtcha][link]] tool which annotates sequences with GO
terms and collects genomes to annotate, preferably ones from nasty organisms
such as Malaria (link to paper) and Sleeping Sickness (link to paper). His
interest is in improving the annotations, working out how to tell the
annotations have improved (not as easy as you might think) and looking at
these anntoations in a systems biology context. He also runs the TACTICS
project in collaboration with colleagues from the Medical faculty, a data
management system that is attempting to bring order to the plethora of
research data arising from the Dundee Tissue Bank.

We should also get a picture of Philip at some point.

_This_ button is for posting to news group. _That_ button is for
sending email.

I'd agree about getting a picture of Philip though.

Actually, it is the same button. It does different things depending on
whether you are reading news or mail (in a combined browser window).

That's what got me, along with it being late and a bit hassled.

What are these "buttons" of which you speak?

(Actually my news/mail client now appears to have buttons... but I
learned all the key binds so long ago there's no point in removing
hands from keyboard in order click a button. Generally speaking this
seems to be the way it goes with software I use often... button and
menus can be handy when you're getting to know your way around, but in
the long run you save time by learning and using the keybinds
instead.)

Most newsreaders have a Cancel Message function which, while not
perfect, does work to remove it from many news servers before its
downloaded and does some damage limitation in more serious circumstances.

Of course I have no reason to know that ;-)
