Default How long at 85% HR = less than 24HR recovery?

If you ride a trainer at a steady 85% HR what is the time limit if you want to do it every day and progress at an optimum level?

One hour total, and with at least one day of rest afterward and not more than 3x/week, is a general guideline for training at 85% of max, but ultimately, your experience as a cyclist will determine what is appropriate.

What about everyday of the week 6 or 7 days a week?

As I posted earlier, training at 85% of max HR is typically followed by a workout that is either recovery oriented or at least at a lower intensity. If you find that you are able to train at 85% of max HR 6-7 d/wk, then I would suggest that you need to reasses just what your max HR is.
I mentioned that 1hr total is the general ceiling for such training, but I should have also mentioned that 20-30min is the typical minimum.
