Ever wondered what to do with idiot aggressive drivers in an altercation?
A friend got cut up by a car the other day. He gave "some verbal" and the driver got out threatening to hit him. "Don't be silly, I'll just put my bike through your windscreen". Defused the situation immediately. Genius. Arrived at the park# on me bike. Got thorugh the gates and the tyre had a violent p*ncture. Big loud hiss for two seconds and then no air in tyre. Why did this happen? Because I'd bought not one but two pumps## without making a sacrificial fire of innertubes to the p*ncture fairy. #only 10 minutes away. I'm as lazy as the next person, but take up less roadspace. ##Track pump broke, and some scally stole the cheapo £3 frame pump with the presta connection. B'ah. At least I get the satistaction of knowing the little twerp'll be pumping away for ages before he realises. -- |

I bought two pumps today - a track pump and a little mini pump to carry on the bike... got home this evening and went to pump up tyres and noticed I had a puncture in the front tyre. Oh well... hedge cutting in the lanes takes it's toll. :-) Roger -- remove the dried fruit to reply |
