There is a car park at the velo but I don't know if it is free because it
was already full when I arrived for the World Cup team event a couple of
weeks ago. I guess it doesn't fill up in the normal course of events, but
we were directed to a vast car park serving Man City's new footie ground a
short distance away so there is ample parking in the area.

Velodrome car park is free but not very big. MCFC car park is huge and
free I believe except on match days, but a 5-10 minute walk away, fine
if you are early enough. If you are early enough you may get in the
velodrome car park !. Asda is next door and free but there are signs
saying its for customers only and it mutters something about match day.
We parked there for the World Cup.
