We are going to be moving to the Heidelberg area and just wondering if anyone knows of any bike shops they would recommend in the area? I have seen one in Ivanhoe - anyone know anything about it?
Also, and I feel kind of dumb asking this but.... I've been here a few months but my bike hasn't, so I may not have been paying attention, but now that I'm getting ready to start riding again, it occurred to me I hadn't really seen much in the way of energy bars. So are they out there and where? Can I find them in the supermarket or do I need to go to a bike shop? Thanks! |

Ivanhoe Cycles is probably the closest, or TopGear? in Doncaster. |

Oh, forgot to mention the energy bars... most supermarkets will have some.. but in my (humble) opinion you may as well get hold of some tasty muesli bars as a replacement... much less cost!
If you are really serious and you need some quick food whilst racing... energy gels are available in most bike shops.. they are pretty good! |

Ivanhoe Bikes would have to be one of the best bike shops in Melbourne. Great range and honest advise, not trying to sell you anything, just making sure that you are happy and well advised.
Supermarkets sell energy bars. |

Could try Melbourne Bicycle Centres 37 Queens Pde Clifton Hill , only 4-5 km away.
![]() www.melbournebikes.com Have some good sales now and then, tried their service and survived without complaint. I bought a mtb on sale there and very happy with it , full year free service adjust included and all has been fine. Have set prices for various levels of service on existing bikes. Welcome to Melbourne, take care on the roads now. ![]() |
