I import parts reasonably regularly from the US and find them to be incredibly cheap.
Last order that I recieved was a pair of Dura-ace STI 9sp levers for US$ 240. Clarence St Cycles wanted $1100 for the same thing. Just make sure that the value doesn't exceed AU$400 and if it does get the shop to say its replacement parts under warranty or something similar. Can't bear to pat tax on bike parts when car parts are exempt. Cheers Geoff |
