Please can somebody tell me how to remove the pads from Avid Juicy Five brake? Yes, I have read the manuals from their site but there is no word there regarding the pads.

OPEN WIDE Turn the inboard pad adjuster knob counterclockwise until it stops. Remove the old pads and discard. No tools needed; just your fingers.

Thanks, but are you sure you mean Juicy Five? There is no pad adjuster knob on the caliper...

Yes, they are removed without any tools. You just have to push a pad "inside"and then pull. |

i just change my juicy 5 disc pads.
1) Remove the "Pin" on the top (outside) from caliber. 2) Pull out the disc pads only. (remember the alignment is very important; if not it will cause the pad to be wear out very fast.) |
