Default Preventing chain suck

Is there some regular maintenace or perhaps some sort of product that will help stop, or completely stop chain suck?
I know this is most likely a newbie question, but i have only just gotten back into MTB'ing and have had it happen a few times, especially when i ride in the rain/mud.

I always have bad chain suck - and I've had a million people tell me different things - it's all trial and error.

is it new?

when mine was new it was sucking all the time. Finally the rep swapped out a my front chainrings and gave me a new chain. The sucking seemed to stop but now it's back (it's been over a year). so I'm going to try to replace the chain again.

try this
