Default Rides in the east of Melbourne

Hi to all,

I have recently moved to the east of Melbourne, Yarraville. I used to ride on Beach Road all of the time but now I am at a loss to find somewhere to ride that is lit up and reasonably safe.

I am training for racing so I am looking for roads that I can go reasonably quick on without fear of sudden stops.

Are there any training bunches on this side of town?

Any ideas?
