Hi Haydn,
I am in Perth also. I insured my bikes with Suncorp Metway as all risks add-ons to my house and contents insurance. The cost was about $40 for both, quite resonable for replacement cover, over K$1, each bike. Remember to include normally used accessories, such as computer and HR monitor and shoes and helmet.

Haydn,
You should check with your local Bicycling Advocate. I'm a member of BikeSA here in Adelaide and they offer pretty decent cycling insurance package for a measly $20. See the following link: http://www.cyclecover.com.au/category11_1.htm See if your bike advocacy group offers a similar package or if cyclecover above will look after you in Perth. Hope this helps...
