Thumbs up End of an Era

I count myself fortunate to have witnessed Lance Armstrongs 7 victories in the Tour de France.

Despite those that hurl dope accusations, anti american bias, boredom, "he's not as good as Eddy" or whatever other complaints you can imagine...in my lifetime we have been witness to the greatest Tour of France rider in history. Not only that but we have been able to watch most of every stage live on television! Only a casual follower of bicycle racing since the Hampston, Lemonde days I am now a confirmed race follower...spring classics, grand tours, worlds...etc.

Those that are Lance Armstrong fans, raise a glass of champagne (or a cold Black Butte Porter) with me tomorrow in salute!

Thanks Lance
Its been FUN!

if you were able to spell those American rider's names correctly, I might take that post a bit more seriously.

Does it hurt to be a dick? Didn't your mommy ever tell you: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
