Default I know its trendy to have a go at Lance but...

Just a thought, Lance Armstrong is an extremely talented athlete, and possibly one of the greatest TdF competitors ever but, is it diluted as he has never really won any other major race??

ie he has never won The Giro d'Italia or Vuelta a Espana (he did win the World Championships once in 93).

I mean someone like Miguel Indurain only won the Tour de France 5 time (only!!), but he won the Giro twice in the same years as wining the tour. And don't get me started on Merckx!!

I wonder how much closer Ivan Basso would be to Lancce if he didn't ride the Giro this year.
