If anyone saw Team American then be afraid... be very afraid....
UK newspaper The Guardian reports that Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon is currently negotiating a role to star in film based on Lance Armstrong's first biography, It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life. US television channel ESPN 2 also said Damon was Armstrong's preferred choice for the role, with the 35 year-old apparently a cycling enthusiast and keen to shape up for the part. Described as a 'method actor', Damon lost over 40 pounds (18 kilograms) for his role in the film Courage Under Fire (1996), and as shown in The Talented Mr. Ripley and The Bourne Supremacy, he's more than adept at playing other people - so being Lance Armstrong for a few months shouldn't pose too great a hurdle for him. |

Mattttt Daamooooooonnnn... HAHAHAHAA. On a serious note, I think he would do a great job. MD is a good actor and aside from a couple poor choices of movies, he has chosen wisely. On a side remark, I used to look alot like MD, people used to come up to me and ask if I was him. I've lost some of the 'charm' now, but maybe people will think I'm him on the bike now???? HAHa.

He's a good actor with poor political views.
Like Armstrong or not his first book was fantastic. Motivating in more ways then one. I was a little surprised that a guy could go through all of that and end up not believing in God though. |

The story about Matt Damon is old news, but I guess now that LA is retired it is time for the hagiography to begin. I also thought Damon would never do, but just saw Talented Ripley and Bourne Supremacy and think he has he acting chops and will do the physical part well. NOW!?!?! WHO WILL PLAY KIK, BOB ROLL, CARMICHAEL, LANCE'S MOM? I mean the movie is to be based on the book, right? My nominations: Armstrong--Matt Damon C Carmichael-- Kevin Costner Kik Armstrong--Cameron Diaz Lance's first girlfriend--Sandra Bullock Johan Bruyneel--Ben Affleck Linda Armstrong--Ashley Judd Kevin Livingston--Jude Law Lance's doctor--Robin Williams and featuring Bob Roll as HIMSELF obviously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yeah. I'm probably thinking of a younger DH. Don't ask me for detailed reasons, just My Opinion. I did give it a few minutes consideration. Got someone else in mind? |
