Default Cycling buddies for Beach Road Melbourne

Hi all,
I currently ride the beach road melbourne but am yet to find someone to join me. None of my slack mates are into the riding thing…
I'm only doing it a couple of times a week at the moment but am looking to do it some more. Thought this would be a good way to keep the motivation levels up.

I'm keen to find someone about the same age and ability... am 27.

Anyone doing the same and fancy a little company?

cheers all,
T.

also, try Cogsgirls. They ride down there a couple of times a week, cater for different levels, and are a really nice bunch to ride with. I live the other side of town and rarely go down beach road, but rode with them one morning and had a great time. A google search for their yahoo group will find you the details.

cheers,
ali

If you want to ride with a ladies group on Sunday mornings, turn up at Kennedy's Cycle Fit in Black Rock by 7.30am. We do between 60-70k, age of the group varies.

On a typical day we go to Frankston/Mt Eliza. Speeds between 25-35k. On windy days like yesterday, we tackle headwind first, usually go to Pt Melbourne.
But if you want a faster ride, come on a Saturday same time. Bigger, mixed bunch, mostly men.
